What is BenefitsCheckUp®?

BenefitsCheckUp® is America’s most comprehensive web-based service to screen for benefits programs for individuals with limited income and resources.  BenefitsCheckUp includes more than 1,500 public and private benefits programs from all 50 states.  These include programs for prescription drugs, nutrition (including "SNAP" Supplemental Nutrition Assistance/Food Stamps), utility assistance, health care and many more.

How does it work? 

It’s simple, fast, FREE and confidential (see the Privacy Policy)!  It will take you about 10 or 15 minutes to enter information about your financial situation into an on-line questionnaire.  Then, BenefitsCheckUp locates and explains what benefit programs you may be eligible for and how you can apply for them. 

What do I need to get started? 

Click here to review information you will need about you or the person you are helping before starting the screening process.  While you can enter information as many times as you’d like, BenefitsCheckUp does not store your data once you exit the questionnaire.
